How rooms and entry fees work
Rooms set the players, the clock, the entry fee and the coin. Here is how to read a room before you join it.
Reading a room
Every room label tells you what you are joining - the number of players, the entry fee and the coin, and the round length when it is not the standard 30 seconds. The amount shown always comes from the room itself, so it is never out of date.
Entry fees and the prize pool
Joining a paid room deducts the entry fee from your balance. Entries from all players form the prize pool for that round. A fixed platform fee is taken from the pool; the rest goes to the winner.
Coins
Rooms are priced in one of the coins available on joyaccesshub - Goldies or Funnies. A room only accepts the coin it is priced in. Your balances are shown in your wallet and every change is listed in your transaction history.
Player counts
- 1 player - practice, free, no prize
- 2 players - head to head
- 4 players - one winner from four
Practice rooms
Practice rooms have no entry fee and no prize. They exist so you can learn a game's scoring at no cost, as many times as you like.
Changing your mind
If you have not been placed in a round yet, you can leave the queue. Once a round has started, the entry stands. Anything unexpected on your balance, send us the details at support@joyaccesshub.com.
